Looking forward to playing this week: More FAR: Changing Tides.Ten years ago, teenager Nicole and her mother left the family hotel after discovering her father Leonard's affair with, and pregnancy of Rachel, a girl her own age who eventually committed suicide. This one seems to hit differently so I am keeping everything crossed. Most exciting news of last week: Even if this turns out to be fake, (it looks incredibly professional though) a leaked Konami shareholder presentation gave a glimpse at a global reveal for Silent Hill which is scheduled for July 12th. The game is gorgeous and a good game if you want to chill out without thinking much. As a huge fan of the first FAR game, it was great to see a new setting with some new mechanics added. I also started FAR: Changing Tides as that is also a game pass game. Saturday I finished Sniper Elite 5 which I thoroughly enjoyed. We played a few rounds with Bradley being the only one to escape through a hatch, with myself playing as bait. I had forgotten how fun & exciting the game was, and at the same time, how frustrating it can be. ![]() First off, I played some Dead By Daylight with 2 of our staff writers, Bradley & Colombo. This weekend was a bit hectic for me but I did manage to get a couple of gaming sessions in. Looking forward to playing this week: Need for Speed Heat, Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition, Calico, and perhaps Mass Effect: Legendary Edition. Most exciting news of last week: New target medals on TrueAchievements have now been released for July which means I will be spending some time working towards earning these. A little short for my liking but otherwise enjoyable. I feel in the middle of these but my opinion leans more towards the positive end of the spectrum. An interesting game that some will find interesting and others would expect more from. Finally, I boosted my gamerscore by playing Energy Cycle Edge and spent the rest of my Sunday playing The Suicide of Rachel Foster. I read all the dialogue they had to offer and was pleasantly reminded how much I enjoy these relaxing games that have you make small interactions here and there. Two visual novels joined my weekend also – Blind Men and LoveChoice. I also started Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments and admittedly, I used a guide to obtain all achievements as me and Lewis had already played the game somewhat together I’ve always liked the idea and concept around these murder mystery titles. I believe I have got as far as meeting all possible team members but I’m currently stuck at a boss battle so I have decided to take a break for now and return possibly this week again. On Friday, after having this recommended to me during the week, I continued my venture in Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition as I needed another RPG which I could sink plenty of time into again. ![]()
